The seed was planted when Will from Willie Thow Photography met Suares at a wedding expo. The two instantly connected over their shared passion for authentic storytelling and refined wedding aesthetics. What began as a simple discussion about photographing florals soon blossomed into a full-scale collaborative shoot involving a handpicked team of creatives. “That connection sparked the idea for this styled shoot: a collaborative space to bring together like-minded creatives who value artful design, genuine connection and thoughtful details,” Suares explains.

With endless sources of wedding inspiration saturating social media, this collaborative wedding project arrives at the perfect moment as wedding season gains momentum. After moments of brainstorming, Suares and Will reached out to an enthusiastic list of vendors eager to be involved within their project. “After the initial meeting, we met with the event coordinator, Jess, from Jem Weddings, who helped us grow our list of vendors taking part in the shoot. We created our WhatsApp group for all communications and that has worked easily,” Suares shares.
To capture genuine emotion and romance, the team opted to cast a real couple instead of professional models, adding an intimate, meaningful layer to the shoot. With a vintage glam and luxe theme set against the breathtaking Brookleigh Estate in the heart of Swan Valley, the shoot effortlessly blends old-Hollywood elegance with natural beauty. Surrounded by manicured gardens and charming historic architecture, the location offers a romantic backdrop for documentary style photography focused on natural light, authentic movement and refined styling. The bold yet soft colour palette incorporates rustic and vintage notes, creating a mood that’s both timeless and fresh.
